This year we bid goodbye to a record number of graduating seniors: Nisha, Nisha, Joseph, Jonathan, Rebecca, and Tracy. And to our AuD student Jeni, who completed her capstone research project and is off to an externship next year. Thanks to all of you for your contributions to the lab over the past few years! You'll be missed!
The 2014-2015 academic year was a busy one in the Peelle Lab: We had 3 seniors working on honors theses, and an AuD student working on a one year research project:
In addition, research assistant Carol Iskiwitch, who was the lab's first paid employee ever, will be leaving soon as she prepares to head off to graduate school in the fall.
All of them have been valued lab members and we are sad to see them go. Good luck guys!
Chad
We're very excited to welcome the lab's first postdoc: Chad Rogers! Chad completed his PhD at Wash U with Mitch Sommers before doing a postdoc with Art Wingfield at Brandeis. He is now back in Saint Louis and working on very interesting projects at the intersection of speech perception, memory, and aging.
It's going to be a busy summer around here. Starting with three new lab members who joined us in June! Sheridan and Vivian are undergraduates at Wash U helping out on several projects over the summer, and Margaret is an AuD student who will be working on a research project over the next year. Welcome!
